Playing its role in visual arts, MyCreative is a government investment arm that aims to spur Malaysia’s creative industry via strategic and innovative funding through equity or debt investments. MyCreative Ventures Sdn. RM200 million was allocated from the 2012 Malaysian Budget to help boost the creative industry’s significance to the Malaysian economy.
Showcasing 14 finalists, the artwork on display is a narrative of music, dance, art, literature and theatre that was beautifully captured, conveying the stories of our present, and, reflect our hopes for the future.
Professionals and art lovers not only want to see that the art looks great, but they also want to get a feel for who the artist is, and it can be the key factor that sets the value. MCV hopes to support more artists in the creative arts in the future as a fast emerging driving force for the international market place.
